The proposed project will accomplish the following objectives:
· Deliver 18 hours of training to leaders of at least 50 FBCOs serving low-income Latino communities to strengthen each FBCO’s capacity for leadership development, organizational development, program development, and community engagement.
· 80% of training participants will rate their satisfaction with the training at a 4 out of 5 or higher.
· Up to 15 FBCOs will receive sub-awards of up to $20,000 each and be afforded at least 20 hours of additional one-on-one technical assistance to build their general organizational capacity and to fund, organize, operate, and evaluate: 1) asset formation, benefit enhancement, and financial literacy programs for low-income families; 2) job readiness skill acquisition for unemployed adults seeking employment and job retention; and 3) mentoring and other supportive services programs for at-risk youth
· 80% of those participating in technical assistance will demonstrate enhanced competencies in two or more of the four critical capacity areas.
· 80% of technical assistance participants will rate their satisfaction with the technical assistance at a 4 out of 5 or higher;
· 80% of sub-awardees will demonstrate greater capacity to plan, fund, and operate asset formation and/or youth mentoring programs.
